Terms of use

Last updated: May 21, 2026

This English version is provided for convenience. The French version is the legally binding text and prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Purpose

These Terms of use set out the conditions for accessing and using the Maestro Deck Service, operated by Ethan Morisset. Accessing the Service implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

Maestro Deck is a platform that lets developers run, remotely and on cloud infrastructure, automated tests written with the open-source Maestro tool, and review their results. Using the Service requires creating an account and first purchasing a pack of runs.

3. User account

The Service is reserved for adults (18 years or older). By creating an account, the user declares being at least 18 years old and having the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Account creation by a minor is prohibited and will result in the account being deleted without notice or refund.

The user undertakes to provide accurate information when creating an account and to keep their credentials confidential. Any action performed from an account is deemed to have been performed by its holder. The user may delete their account at any time by contacting contact@maestrodeck.cloud.

4. Permitted use

The user undertakes to use the Service fairly. In particular, it is forbidden:

  • to submit tests intended to harm third-party systems (intrusion, denial of service, abusive scraping);
  • to use the Service to run malicious code, mine cryptocurrencies, or host unlawful content;
  • to attempt to circumvent quotas, daily caps, or billing mechanisms;
  • to use the Service in breach of third parties' intellectual property rights;
  • to resell or redistribute access to the Service without prior written authorization.

5. User content

The user remains the sole owner of the content they upload (applications, test scripts, generated screenshots). They grant Ethan Morisset a non-exclusive license, limited to the technical operation of the Service (storage, processing, display to the user themselves) and for the time strictly necessary for that operation.

The user warrants holding all necessary rights to the content they upload and holds Ethan Morisset harmless from any third-party claim in this respect.

6. Availability

The Service is available 24/7, subject to maintenance operations and technical incidents. No contractual availability commitment (SLA) is guaranteed outside offers that explicitly include one.

7. Suspension and termination

Ethan Morisset reserves the right to suspend or terminate a user's access to the Service, without notice or compensation, in the event of a breach of these Terms, in particular abusive, fraudulent or unlawful use. Unused credits attached to an account terminated for breach of these Terms are non-refundable.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its brand, its code and its interfaces are the exclusive property of Ethan Morisset. No rights are assigned to the user beyond a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service.

9. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

10. Changes to these Terms

Ethan Morisset reserves the right to amend these Terms. Users will be informed by any appropriate means (email, in-app notification). Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

The Service is published from France. These Terms are governed by French law, regardless of the user's nationality or place of residence.

In accordance with Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 (Rome I), a consumer user habitually resident in another Member State of the European Union benefits from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence where these are more favorable to them.

Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts, subject to the mandatory jurisdiction rules applicable to consumers resident in the European Union.
